Day 101

Day 100 of the Trump Administration has come and gone.

Two grand juries have convened to investigate Russian influence on the election. One of them is about ready to return the first indictment.  How deep the corruption of our government goes awaits discovery.

Fox News is in disarray, having lost mainstay Bill O'Reilly to lawsuits from abused women, losing today the corporate vice president who told female employees to suck it up, and predicted to be losing by the end of the week, Sean Hannity.

The President will be welcoming a mass murderer, the president of the Philippines, to the White House:

The Republican Party has split in two between diehard conservatives who care more about pushing their own agenda than the future of the party and moderate conservatives who might find themselves voted out of office if they were to follow the diehard agenda. The replacement for Obamacare that one of them favors is unacceptable to the other, and vice versa. So it stalls.

The people are demonstrating massively. If this same energy gets invested in the 2018 elections, the de-corporatizing of America may have begun. The general welfare - as mentioned in the preamble to the Constitution - is not to be disregarded. Despite what Ayn Rand wrote.

The times, they are a-changin'.
