Tax Fat To Pay For Healthcare

An epidemic of fat is sweeping the nation, causing health problems and shortening the lives of those who love cow and pig fat. This burden on people's lives is also a burden on our public medical system. All Americans pay for the care of fat Americans.

This is paraded in our faces by fat women riding electric wheelchairs down the sidewalk, their knees destroyed from competing with each other to "carry more weight", their bodies still grossly obese even after their crippling. Morbidly obese. But we're trying our best to keep them alive. Giving them every service.

Suppose we tax the fat that keeps them unhealthy? Tax lard? Tax butter? Tax cream?

Can there be an excise tax on fattening foods? Can we excise fat?

And pay for universal healthcare?
