Co-resident Systems Enhance Transitions

Back in the days, we systems guys installed new data systems by running a new one in parallel with the old one for a monthly billing cycle. If the results were the same, we could safely migrate the old account data forward into the new system.

Suppose people could do the same with healthcare? Suppose participation in the new healthcare system is optional? Suppose a person can opt in and opt out?

Would anyone protest having more freedom of choice? Not very likely.

Once the new system is in place, is functioning, and is accepted, then the current system will dwindle naturally, just like the carriage industry.

A heart transplant will have taken place.
